Aga Waszkielis, BSc(Hons) MSc,GSR Graduate Sport Rehabilitator
Agnieszka Waszkielis graduated from St Mary`s college in sport rehabilitation. Since graduating she has been working in a both clinical and health and fitness environment, by treating clients individually and also running GP referral classes.
Sport has played a major role in Aga's life from a young age. She started playing handball at the age of 12 and continued at the Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw, Poland. Participating in many sports, she became aware of the importance of the correct technique to avoid injury and the benefits of rehabilitation programs in the treatment of injuries and prevention of their re-occurrence.
In 1999 she gained diploma in sports/remedial massage and since then she has been working with people at all levels from office workers to elite athletes. During her clinical placement she has also treated the Harlequins rugby league team.
Aga has subsequently continued to attend various further developmental courses to enhance her skills and knowledge base.
She specializes in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries both sports related and occupational using sports rehabilitation / massage techniques.
